ColorBlind is an inversive romantic comedy film about a white supremacist who has a laser eye surgery mishap, goes blind for a day, and falls in love with a black woman.

This film was funded by the Edmonton Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts.

THE LEADS


Natalie Malaika is a powerhouse and rising talent, appearing in numerous productions such as ABC’s CONVICTION, Netflix’s FRACTURED, and DAY OF THE DEAD. Malaika stated that "the ability to be working on a film that is touching on important things" is what drew her to the role.
Cody Ray Thompson is best known for his captivating work in THE SHAPE OF WATER, THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY, and THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE. When speaking on his role, he touched on the notion that "We have much more in common than we do different. "
