1844 Studios Inc. is an award-winning film production company, founded in 2018 by two passionate partners, A Mother - Daughter Duo.
The company's mission is to build a complete ecosystem in which action, reflection, consultation, learning and collaboration are used to establish cutting-edge patterns of media development, production, distribution and consumption that are fit for a New World Order operating on the principle of the oneness of humanity.
As a diverse company, we aim to increase diversity behind and in front of the camera and to champion stories from diverse points of view.
MITRA KNIGHT

As an Iranian-Canadian Bahá’í, who has lived and travelled extensively in the Caribbean and in Africa, Mitra has gravitated towards international stories which resonate widely. A Project Director by trade, Mitra brings a highly efficient, strategic approach to filmmaking as a producer at 1844 Studios.
Nauzanin Knight is a Canadian woman of Caribbean and Middle Eastern descent. Her nuanced stories reflect the uniqueness of her heritage as well as her international life. Her aim is to create projects that are both entertaining and draw attention to pressing social issues.
